Vintage Anna Van Briggle 11” Brown Pottery Tall Pitcher Inscribed Bealls

Description

A great example of Van Briggle Pottery that was custom made for a family with the name of 'The Bealls'.   It is well marked on the bottom and the marks appear to be authentic to the maker.  The glaze is a classic Van Briggle brown, which varies from a beautiful cinnamon to dark brown... very glossy with the white drip coloring across the top. It is free of chips or cracks.  There is visible crazing under the glaze. The name was inscribed before firing and has no glaze in it, showing the original
